If your child struggles with organization, time management, self-monitoring, or prioritization, then executive functioning support might be a good fit.

Executive functioning support can include:

  • Prioritizing homework and estimating time to complete each assignment

  • Breaking down long-term or multi-step assignments into manageable parts

  • Creating a plan or calendar for the week/month to include long-term assignments

  • Developing a routine for completing homework each night

  • Making a plan for a specific assignment (including materials needed, time to finish, how to turn it in), followed by completing each step of the plan

*If you're interested in executive functioning services for your college student, see the College Support page.
